Belize Travel and Beyond

 
Belize is a welcoming country of loving, cheerish, friendly people, Simply paradise lovely country. Belize is a nation that is known for it's hiden treasure waiting to be discovered and it's tourist destination Belize has. Belize only has two seasons per year Wet and Dry season. Wet season from June to Novemeber and dry season from december to May. English is the first language. As many may ask when they reach in Belize is ''What is Creole?'' Creole is a broken english. Creole descendants of Black African slaves brought to Belize and English and Scottish log cutters, who were known as the Baymen. The Belize Kriol language was then historically only spoken by them, but this ethnicity has become Belizean national identity, and as a result Kriol is now spoken by about 75% of Belizeans. Our second language is Spanish as well. Belize has different culture such as Creole, Mestizo, Garífuna, East Indian, Mennonite, Mopan Maya and Kekchi Maya.



If you want to Vacation in Belize, you can begin by looking at what kind of stuffs you want to do. Their is the second largest barrier reef in the world which stretches 8 to 16 miles long and you can explore Mayan ruins, rainforests, mangroves, turtle nesting sites and salt-water crocodile habitats. In the summer time is very high in tempreture so keep your sun screen with you and a spray of bug repelant. Snorkeling in Belize can be fun. Looking at some of snorkeling spots in Belize is Hole Chan Marine Reserve, Mexico Rocks, and Shark Ray Alley. Mainy fish can be seen at every dive. Some would be the parrot fish, sea fans, Grupor, just to name a few. Lighthouse Reef, Turneffe Islands, Glover's reef are visit by some Large boats. It is a shallow area,  that it's dept is only 9 feet deep and some patches of coral can be seen in the area. This are the six island that can be seen at the three atolls Sandbore Caye,  Northern Caye occupies two island,  Pelican Caye, Long Caye. Blue Hole is 1000 feet across and 400 feet deep. It is located in the middle of one of the atoll Lighthouse reef atoll. At 130 feet you can see huge stalgtites hanging off. Bacalar Chico Marine Reserve it is sixty square kilomiter's square mile. Visiting the site can be set by a local tour guides. It is only Accessable by sea.  Bacalar Chico is bordered  on the north by the Belize/Mexico border and southern boundary marked by the point from San Juan to Robles Point,  Bacalar Chico National Park and Marine Reserve (BCNP & MR) was established in 1996 and is managed by the Fisheries and Forest Departments.
Bcalar Chico is located on the northern tip of the reef over view the Bay of Chetumal and Mexico. The main concernce for this is its wildlife at Rocky Point, turtles nest between Robles and Rocky Point.


San Pedro Ambergris Caye, Belize
San Pedro ambergris Caye, Belize, - San Pedro in the back days was only a village set back to relax and catch fish. about 160 years ago, In the early 1800's to 1970's it was only mestizo desendance who were coming to the island because in the year 1848 the caste war in yucatan peninsual in mexico weremestizos hated the mexican. In this time, the first family that came to the island was the Antionio's family in the year 1848. Later on we got the Vasquez,Guerrero, Heredia, Gonzalez, Rosado, Nunez, Marin, Verde, Tolosa, Alamilla,Acosta, Cardenez,Aguilar, Gomez, Graniel, Kumul, Varela, Paz, Perez, Munoz, Ancona ect. Fishing in the island, was well taken care by the fishermen, who visited their lobster and fish everyday. Corn Fish was made locally in the island which is still made today. In those days there was no electricity nor refregerator, so the fish had to be preserved which is known as "Pescado Seco". People like San Pedro because of it's white Sandy Beach and the cool breeze smoothly blowing on your face.When the wind came in the island children played excitedly on the beach flying paper plane's which in those time's there was not much toys or not toys yet reach insland which they had to invent their own.
Now as the island had grown to a large town it is now famous for it's travelling lisit in Belize. San Pedro is now rank number #1for it's tourist destination. The island has lots to offer such as renting bicycle, renting golf carts,staying on hotels, restuarants and much more. Ambergris Caye is fool of wildlife bring people to it's full excitment. Tropical view's Ambergris has create's a magnificent of the island. Walking down the beach is beautiful site. Conch Shell is bought locally in different souviner's. A massage can also be done for you, to feel at home and relax your way in to a life time experience. Caye Caulker- This island made it's famousy to only a few people in the 17th-century British buccaneers used theisland to buildboats astop for water. The island strecthes 8 miles and 1 mile west. This Caye Caulker is in an area of a feeding site that migrates the route of fish, conch and lobster. It started of  when Indian War of the Castes in the Yucatan people sailed their way to this island. Dated from early times when the Spanish name the island "Cayo Hicaco".  Reffering Coco Plum which grows wildly on the island. Caye Caulker still remains as one of the fishing islandandboat builder's, but today as tourismistaking over itis now becoming more asa tourist destination. Small businesses are on a slowly lifesyle as the people in the island enjoy it more than others. This island has not changed for quit some time is it placesitself on a quiet vacationing. You can also enjoy your time on a sunset cruise in catamaran or a sailing boat. Caye Caulker and San Pedro can only be access by a water Taxi or either by plan.

St George's Caye
St George's Caye- was used for a short Military time that lasted from 3 to 10 September, 1798. It's famous name it was the final battle that occured on September 10. On the10of September it marks as a holiday public and bank. In the year's when the Spaniards came toBelize they tried to attempt to expel the sttlers in the island in the year 1716, 1724, 1733, 1747, 1751, and 1779. Today isan island one of a kind you want to visit. St. George's Caye is just few munitesto the reef and is a place you want to scuba dive. This island was fought for when hostiles were brought to end the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, which allowed the Baymen rights between the Belize and Hondo rivers. Experiencing Scuba dive the work is done for you and you just have the fun. This island can only be access by boat.


Placencia- Placencia is a tourist destination a touch of lovely attraction beach and it's crystal blue water. Placencia stretches 16 miles of beach. Placencia gives a view of natural views such as birds, butterflies, green iguana's, and friendly people in the penninsula. Walking down the beach you'll see pleanty of great attraction view. Have lunch on seafront while having a great time.  Try the kayak for a tranquil attraction in the mangroves. Take a boat at the Monkey River to see the Howler Monkey. Do you want to sail away?  Enjoy a spectacular view of a sunset cruise in Placencia. you can visit the Barrief Reef by boat. by accessing the roadin placencia can  enjoy more  in the mainland and have spectacular time  Mayan Ruins of Lubaantun and Nim Li Punit, cave tours, or jungle trails through Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuar Jaguar Reserve. Things to in placencia's that could the world's best expereice: snorkleing, Scuba dive, windsurfing, fishin, bird watching. Ech year in Lobster fest in june 15 you can have excellent meal. Placencia has a few hotel that has a palapa view at sea front. The people of Placencia are creoles - decendants of African slaves and European settlers. Cameto the penninsula long ago for logging.
 

Mayan Site- Belize has many mayan ruins in the country. The  maya ruin which is visited today are Caracol, Xunantunich,Cahal Pech, El Pilar between Belize/Guatemala, La Milpa in Orange Walk District, Lamania, Colha Mayan Ruins, San Estevan, Cerros Mayan Ruin, Santa Rita, Caracol is located in Cayo district. This was the first name put to Carocal Uxwitza Three Water Hill. In the time of 2000BC-200CE Belize was occupied until the time ofthe 16th century when the Spaniards arrived. In the time of the Maya ruin, it said that their was 1 million Maya people during the Classic Maya Period than it is today. Belize Lies on the heart of Maya civilaization. Between 600 – 900 AD maya's were divided into different region kingdom and principalities. Maya Caves isa place hidden into treasure. Bodies had been discovered, portal to the Underworld, where many important deities lived. The underworld was called Shivalva (Shee-BALL-ba); the gods of death resided under caves.
